Welcome to Hilton Beach

On the Northeast shore of St. Joseph Island – the heart of the Great Lakes – Hilton Beach has been an important port of call and a popular tourist destination for over a century.

The Hilton Beach Marina is one of the largest in the North Channel and one of the most scenic on the Great Lakes.  Our marina welcomes thousands of visiting boaters every summer.

Our Village has been at the forefront of municipal modernization initiatives such as installation of solar panels on several public buildings, LED streetlights village-wide, and high efficiency heating, cooling & lighting upgrades in public facilities.  We also boast modern facilities for our ratepayers including a modern municipal water & sewer system; a 300-person capacity community hall that serves as a concert and wedding venue; a scenic and full-service marina; and the Waterfront Centre, a multi-unit office and retail building on the waterfront.  Together with several parks, beaches, and a beautiful waterfront boardwalk, Hilton Beach is a beautiful place to live or visit.

Hilton Beach is known for its array of cultural events throughout the year. Arts at the Dock features work from the district’s best artists. The Classic Car Show is fun and interesting for the whole family with over 100 vehicles spanning the past century. The Old Town Hall Concert Series has attracted the biggest names in Canadian music, including Jeff Healey’s Jazz Wizards, Amy Sky, Susan Aglukark and Michael Kaeshammer. The Hilton Beach Community Night is the biggest night of the year with food, games and a parade through the Village.

Hilton Beach has a lot to offer visitors with three restaurants, accommodations, a grocery/liquor store and various gift shops and other services.
